One word that can make an entire population go nuts? Netflix. Two words that can make a population go absolutely mad? Leaving Netflix.

The great thing about Netflix? There are over 4k titles that you can instantly stream in 1080p. Ten or fifteen years ago, this technology was mature for it’s day and age, but today, we just get cranky when we hear Netflix is removing certain titles, not thankful that there tons of other titles still listed.

Netflix seems to be our staple when it comes to watching all of our favorite shows and movies. We have become attached. So attached to the point that we sit and binge watch our favorites. We sit and browse for hours, coming to the same conclusion that we will just sit and watch our number one show.

Once we are done binging our favorite shows, then we move on to the next show, right? But what happens when we run out of things to watch? Or what about if they take our show off in the middle of us binge watching? Psh, like that will ever happen!

5 Easy Steps To Suggest New Movies/Shows To Netflix

Don’t Kill The Messenger

You’ve heard that saying, “Don’t kill the messenger”? Well, in this case, that couldn’t be more truthful. There are tons of titles available, you can even get HD dvd’s. There are tons of titles listed. There are a slew of them including genres like anime or mystery.

Just remember, Canadian Netflix and American Netflix is not the same. For example, The Last Kingdom premiered first in the UK and later in the USA (Which, more than likely, is how season three will be). So remember, not all titles are the same. What you may have in Canada, you may not have in Nigeria.

Netflix Can Help

Good news! The shows that you were stuck on, that you were loading like crazy to watch, that favorite movie that you re-watched time and time again cannot possibly be gone. But! This is a big but! Many are getting excited, because you can suggest titles to Netflix now.

This does not mean that you’ll have a guarantee of your show or movie coming to Netflix, but you at least have a voice to be heard! The trouble? You request your shows and then Netflix listens to the best of their ability.

Netflix says, “If you’ve already submitted a request for a title, you can sit back and relax – we’ve received your feedback and there’s nothing more for you to do. We keep track of all requests from our members, so there’s no need to request a title more than once.

How to Suggest New Movies/Shows To Netflix

1. When you’re logged into Netflix, you’ll be asked which user profile you’d like to use. Choose which profile you’d like to use.

 2. Once you’re logged in, you’ll see your list of movies, things that are recommended to your and so on.

3. Scroll the whole way (you may have to fight the titles that are loading, but you’ll eventually get there) to the bottom. Click on “Help Center”.

4. Once you’ve gotten to the help center, you’ll see a box on the right hand side with a few quick links that Netflix thought to be helpful. You’ll want to click on “Request TV Shows or Movies”.

5. You’ll come to the page where you can request shows. Just type your requests in and hit “Submit Suggestion”!

You’re Probably Frustrated

More than likely you won’t care about upcoming, new titles coming to Netflix next month if you’re main squeeze has dropped off the face of the planet. You probably just care about the titles expiring. Accessing shows that you’ve got saved is quite simple… Until it’s not.

But let’s all do the adult thing here and not throw a temper tantrum and no dropping Netflix because your favorite show wasn’t playing anymore. Rather, read up on why shows leave Netflix.

I know you may be having some anxiety retrieving the information in your brain that your favorite shows or movies are no longer on Netflix, but search some new titles, you never know what you’ll find. Maybe someday soon, you’ll find a new show that was even more super than the last.

What title are you most sad to see leave Netflix? What is at the top of your list? What will you be streaming next?
