A slew of great Netflix Originals are coming to Netflix in April as the second quarter of the year is set to start. The streaming service has been a home to several comedy series this year and the prospects it carries with new television series and movies looks equally promising.

Last month in March, new seasons of some top television shows including House of Cards and Marvel’s Daredevil arrived to Netflix. For the month of April, Netflix has some comedy series, a few kid shows and a Netflix original movie hitting the service, perfect for binge-watching session.

And just like every month, we’ve come up with a complete preview of all the Netflix Originals coming to Netflix in April 2016. Take a look.

Lost & Found Music Studios (Season 1)

A half-hour teen series chronicling the lives of a group of musicians in an after-school music program, Lost & Found Music Studios is a Netflix Original set to release in all regions excluding Canada, UK and Ireland. Mr. T., who owns the studio lets new members join every year and take the standout members in the group to a live tour at the end of the year.

The Ranch (Season 1)

Another Netflix Original coming to Netflix right on April 1 is The Ranch. A Netflix comedy series featuring stars like Ashton Kutcher, Elisha Cuthbert, Sam Elliot, Debra Winger and Danny Masterson, The Ranch is batched in two with 10 episodes each. The story of the show follows the lives of two brothers working on a business in Colorado.  Kathy Baker is also said to appear in the show in a recurring role.

Kong: King of the Apes (Season 1)

An original CGI animation series from Netflix and 41 Entertainment, Kong: King of the Apes is a Netflix Original targeted specially for the kids. A feature film followed by 12 episodes, the show is set in 2050 where Kong wrecks havoc at Alcatraz Islands’ Natural History and Marine Preserve to become a wanted fugitive. However, only three kids know about Kong who was used in a plan to terrorize the world and it is only him who can save the humanity.

After enjoying much success in the first season, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was sold to Netflix for two-season order by NBC in 2014. Set to stream on April 15, 2016 on Netflix as a original series, the show received a lot of positive critical acclaim for its first season while it was also nominated for several Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding comedy series. Follow the life of 29-year-old Kimmy Schmidt who looks forward to restart her life in New York after being rescued from a doomsday cult in Indiana.

Patton Oswalt: Talking for Clapping (2016)

An amazing stand-up comedian, writer and actor, Patton Oswalt is coming with his second Netflix stand-up comedy this time with his show Patton Oswalt: Talking for Clapping. Best know to have voiced Remy in Ratatouille, Oswalt’s brand-new stand-up is posted to be his most upbeat special to date. Get ready to explore misery, defeat and hopelessness in a fresh-hour stand-up Netflix Original with Patton Oswalt on April 22.

Special Correspondents (2016)

British-Canadian satirical comedy film, Special Correspondents is written and directed by Ricky Gervais and is a remake of a 2009 French comedy of the same name. Set to release on Netflix worldwide on April 29, 2016, the movie is about a radio journalist and a technician who fake their own kidnapping during the civil war in South America and move to New York instead.
