This year on April Fool’s Day,  Netflix pranked their subscribers real good.  This year the streaming service AprilFool’s Day Prank was a “preview” of a new show titled Netflix Live.   The April Fool’s Day Prank was suppose to feature Will Arnett from Arrested Development, 30 Rock and BoJack Horseman.  He was to be providing “live” commentary on settings such as a microwave cooking, grass growing and other meaningless nonsense.

Unfortunately, it seems like the April Fool’s Day Prank of Netflix LIVE was here and gone. The streaming service has already moved it to the “Canceled List”  on their home page.  Now the show description implies that it was canceled because subscribers didn’t want to binge-watch microwaves, and Dave from analytics may be in trouble.  This series was never intended to be more than an April Fool’s Day Prank for Netflix.  However, viewers of the show quickly embraced this bizarre series.

Whether or not Netflix LIVE! was a Prank, it looks like Netflix maybe on to something.  We may see this type of programming more often. Watch the trailer what do you think?
