Mad Men Season 7 and Season 1-6 are available on Netflix.  Mad Men won the Emmy for Best Drama Series four times.  Mad Men, lead actor Jon Hamm win the Emmy for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series for the final season after being snubbed  in the prior seasons.

 

Mad Men¬†was¬†created by Matthew Weiner and produced by Lionsgate Television. ¬†The series premiered in 2007, on¬†AMC. ¬† After seven seasons and 92 episodes, Mad Men’s final episode aired in 2015.

According to the show’s pilot, the phrase “Mad men” was a term coined in the 1950s by advertisers working on Madison Avenue to refer to themselves. ¬†The series is set in the 1960’s and bases it’s ¬†themes on ¬†cigarette smoking,¬†drinking, sexism, feminism, adultery,homophobia, ¬†and racism, ¬†topics we don’t talk about in today’s society but probably should.

It’s felt like forever as we waited for this series to wrap up and now we need to prepare ¬†for this last season. ¬† ¬†Don Draper, Peggy Olson, Roger Sterling, Betty Francis, Pete Campbell, Joan Harris and the rest of the characters will be seen in the final chapter as we say goodbye. ¬†Mad Men Season 7 isn’t enough and get the first season for your very own follow the link below.
