1993 to 2015, 4227 episodes, and tons of laughs. There were memories made and many nights where many important topics were hashed out. David Letterman was the longest serving talk show host in the US.

For those of you that don’t know, The Late Show was appropriately named as it was on late at night. It was a weeknight show that entertained millions of Americans, night after night. What made The Late Show even better? Paul Shaffer and the music that he contributed with the in-house band.

The reoccurring segments that you may remember are Top Ten List, Stupid Pet Tricks, and Stupid Human Tricks. There were a bunch of famous segments but those three are the most memorable. He was also known for his late night television hosting throughout his time in television. But enough with The Late Show and past talk, let’s move on to more important and pressing matters.

David Letterman coming to Netflix? Yes! But what for? We know he is an excellent talk show host as he has had more than thirty years in the industry, but what about trying something new? Maybe that isn’t for David Letterman…

I mean, when you know you’re good at something, you just know, right. So you’ve probably guessed right, when you read, “David Letterman Coming to Netflix?”. You hit the head on the nail. David Letterman is coming to the small screen as a talk show host.

This news is fresh out of the water, fresh off the printer as we’ve found out that the announcement has been made, but there is no definite name as to what the show will be called. We just know who the host is and when it should be appearing on Netflix.

So when will this magical talk show end up on Netflix? The show will appear on Netflix sometime in 2018. It’s so far away, but it will be worth the wait. All six episodes will be released at one time and will join Chelsea Handlers talk show.

Move over Chelsea Handler, the king of the talk show is here and he won’t disappoint when it comes to showing off his true talent.

So what did Mr. Letterman have to say about this? He seemed super happy if you ask us, “I feel excited and lucky to be working on this project for Netflix. Here’s what I have learned, if you retire to spend more time with your family, check with your family first. Thanks for watching, drive safely,” Letterman said.

The news that came to us thrilled us to see that David Letterman would be getting back to doing what he does best, hosting a talk show, but it will be good to see David Letterman back in his roots. The sucky thing about this? The wait to actually getting the episodes. But the great thing? Once they arrive, you’ll be able to watch them all right away.

What do you think about David Letterman coming to Netflix? This news is pretty exciting and more than likely you won’t want to miss it!
